2,000 comic books. That’s how many comic books Mr. Esposito has worked on in his art career. Wednesday, April 10th at LMS we had a career day where different professions presented what they do and answered questions for our 8th graders. For the art section, Mr. Esposito works on comic books for various works.
Mr. Esposito stated, “A lot of it just comes down to just looking at things and taking them in.” For him he looks at movies and examples in everyday life because you’re learning from what everyone else is doing. If you want to pursue a career with visual arts you can go to trade schools or simply by yourself because there are YouTube tutorials and books to learn from. He has written a lot more of horror because that’s what he finds most interesting. When asked how he got over the art block he said that since his job allows him to do other things too he will sometimes take a break from what he is doing and focus on other work.
So, Mr. Esposito has shown how cool art can be and how you can become an artist too. His comics are awesome works that stick with you even after you’re done reading.
