In his Twitter, governor Phil Murphy also mentioned that the first 76,000 Covid-19 vaccine doses will be primarily for Health care workers and LTC residents and staff. After this batch of vaccines is gone, Gov.Murphy believes that by April or May, everyone in the state of New Jersey will have access to the vaccine. Gov.Murphy is also trying to convince people not to slack on the rules, so the virus doesn’t spread even more during the holidays. He said in an ABC interview that even though the vaccine brings good news, “the next number of weeks are going to be bad, so we’re begging people to please, please, please don’t let your guard down even when you’re in private settings.” Other good news is that the first shipments of the covid vaccine might arrive on 12/14/2020 in New York. New York is expecting 170,000 doses by next week.
