COVID-19 has crazily changed the world. Many businesses closed, everyone has to be wearing masks, and we even had a lockdown in March. Even though COVID-19 cases have dropped in the Summer, a second wave has hit the world in September and it is still not over.  As for the global report, COVID-19 has been accelerating the cases and increasing the death rates. Let’s take a closer look.

Cases of COVID-19 have been rising ever since the start of November. During the first week of November, close to about 46 million cases and 1.2 million deaths have been reported globally.

Cases of COVID-19 have been rising ever since the start of November. During the first week of November, close to about 46 million cases and 1.2 million deaths have been reported globally. Most of the cases were most notable in the European region. In fact, countries such as Italy and Germany have gone to a second lockdown. During the second week of November, coronavirus cases have globally increased by 8% compared to the first week and new deaths have increased by 21% percent which brought case numbers up to more than 49.7 million and more than 1.2 million deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

The third week of November has been even worse. Cases and deaths continued to increase with close to 4 million new cases and about 60,000 new deaths were recorded. Anyway, we have to start taking care of ourselves more so here are some safety measures we should follow.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

  • Whenever you leave your house to go somewhere, make sure to be either wearing a mask or a face shield or both.
  • Make sure to always socially distance yourself from others. Stay at least 6 feet away or more.
  • Don’t go to small spaces or places that are too crowded.
  • Lastly, make sure to be washing your hands constantly, and also practicing good hygiene- shower, change your clothes, leave your shoes at the door, and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.

So in conclusion, COVID-19 cases have been increasing by the week. So make sure to follow the safety procedures mentioned above. Most importantly, use caution and discretion over the holidays. Stay safe and DON’T FORGET TO WEAR A MASK!
