Forza Horizon 5 Rumors: Release Date, Location, and Everything You Need to Know

Do you have an Xbox and love cars? Well, this article is for you. Forza Horizon 5 may be released soon. Multiple leaks are saying that not only will it be coming out this year closer to the holidays, but it will be set in MEXICO! Now if you don’t know, there hasn’t been a “Forza” since 2018 which was “Forza Horizon 4” and every other year a Forza Horizon game gets released and then every other year in between those years is a Forza Motorsport. Now the new Forza  Motorsport looks like it’s going to be a while before we see it. They’re having problems scanning tracks and that’s a pretty important feature regarding a track racing game. I doubt it’s a surprise that the pandemic has caused a lot of problems in game evolution.

My sources tell me that Forza Horizon will be on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox 1 S, Xbox 1 X, and Xbox 1, but also PC. Now, this brings us to seasons. If you don’t play Forza Horizon, well the seasons are basically like seasons IRL and there are different challenges you do in each season. If you complete 50% of the challenges, you might get a common or rare car, but when you get 100%, you get one of the best cars. Anyway, since Forza 5 may be in Mexico, I don’t think seasons will continue to be in Forza, at least in the manner I explained it to be. Also, if you are like me and hate it when winter arrives, it’s just so annoying when you’re driving a supercar and you want to go fast but you can’t because you just don’t have much traction unless of course, you put snow tires on. But even then, you can’t go as fast as you would in the spring or summer. For the new Forza, you won’t have to experience that anymore because Mexico doesn’t get snow like Great Britain does which is where Forza Horizon 4 was placed.

When I think of Mexico, I think of plenty of deserts and beautiful beaches. You can’t forget rainforests and that gives me an idea of what the weather would be like. There could be a hurricane season where the dust from the desert becomes a dust storm. I think instead of seasons there will be the weather for example Rain season, Dry season, Hurricane Season, and so on. So there you have it, Horizon 5 may be close by and I’m VERY excited to see what happens and to explore a new place without actually being there. If you are interested in Forza Horizon 4 and you have an Xbox and you have a Game pass go download it; it’s free and just so much fun.
